Can they repeat their 2014 success?

Monarchs going for gold in Germany

After a hugely successful competition in Germany last year, the Monarchs Acrobatic Gymnastics Club are returning in 2016 looking for repeat success. For many of the club members this was the first time travelling abroad for a competition.

Families, supporters, trainers and team members made the arduous journey through the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany to get to the competition – but it was worth the effort.

The club returned from their first competition in Mainz, with a huge stash of 48 individual medals. This included;

Heather Reed, Emily Augar, Lucy Smith, Samuel Cemm, Toby Baker, Katie Hoskins & Ellie Petrie, Alice Dymond, Natasha Stockham x3, Charlie Dymond, Thomas Hicks x3, Gina Cumberlidge & Jacob Baker x3

Jack Warburton, Jack Hunt, Mia Rowlands, Alice Kelson, Feya Cooper, Chloe Hayes, Jessica Reed x 2, Katie Hoskins & Ellie Petrie

Olivia Augar, Eleanor Cater, Olivia Reed x2, Shannon House, Eloise Baker, Shauna Cross x 2 & Emmy Dymond,

The Monarchs have been training hard for the 16th International Gutenberg Cup 2015 in Mainz, Germany and we hope that by sponsoring the club's training shirts, we have helped in a small way to support their bid to return to the UK with even more success this year.

Good luck from everyone at SDS!
