The Somerset Chamber will, whenever possible, seek to use a member’s services, whilst at the same time, being seen to obtain value for money.
To determine the Chamber’s needs, SDS carried out a Free Print Audit prior to submitting a proposal. When we received SDS’s print/copier/scanner detailed estimate, it was obvious that we were being presented with a competitive costing: something that would provide us with a secure, quality resource and also reduce our overheads.
The SDS solution
Although we had been reasonably happy with our previous supplier, SDS’s proposed package of hardware, software and higher level of service support, made our decision to change supplier straightforward.
Since taking delivery of the new technology, our experience of working with SDS has been of the highest quality. Installation was seamless and training was structured and clear. Our previous facilities were similar operationally however, the increased speed and output quality of the new equipment has dramatically improved office productivity.
The long-term benefits
Two key improvements have emerged since enlisting SDS as our supplier:
1. SDS monitor our toner levels remotely, so we don't have to worry about stock levels and
2. SDS set up a new machine so that it will duplex print automatically, which means we now waste less paper.
