Yeovil-based YMT Technologies were able to trial the cost-savings and customer service of SDS first, with
YMT Technologies specialise in the supply and support of advanced CNC machining and turning centres and all aspects of work-holding, tooling and accessories.
We were introduced to SDS by our IT provider who recognised that we were doing a lot of printing to desktop laser printers. The administration of buying cartridges and fixing the machines was becoming a real issue for us, meaning we were on the lookout for a better solution.
The SDS solution
We received a visit from SDS representatives, during which they conducted a print audit to show how cost effective their solution would be. We then decided to trial this in one area to see if it worked.
It was a great success and we have subsequently taken an additional four units. Now all our printing, scanning and copying is managed by SDS.
The long-term benefits
They respond to any breakdowns promptly, maximising our up time on the devices. The SDS engineers are courteous and always happy to help with any issues related to scanning or printing.
All in all SDS deliver exactly what you expect from a service support company and in today’s marketplace, that is extremely refreshing!
