Nigel has been involved in Office Equipment industry for over 30 years, always striving to be up-to-date with digital technology developments that can improve business performance. His main focus has always been in the area of account management and is expert at establishing and developing mutually beneficial business relationships that are long standing.
Nigel has good all-round IT knowledge, is customer focussed, and is a positive and constructive problem solver.
He has comprehensive knowledge of the functionality and benefits of PaperCut and Fiery software solutions, and scan archive retrieval and workflow solutions.
Nigel is an active supporter of Somerset Cricket Club. Player of skittles & golf, a keen runner & walker.
Finance Director
We are very proud of SDS’s company growth record since our launch in October 2002. As our financial guru, Paul has played a significant and key role in our growth to date.
Paul has over 25 years experience of working in the copy/print/scan print industry.
He works with Sage and service industry GoVantage.online software in producing reliable and robust reports.
Paul leads a well organised and profitable accounts department. He is a first line contact for dealing with suppliers and service calls raised for our service team.
He also holds monthly meetings with the service team, always seeking to improve our customer support.
Paul is a keen cyclist and a regular walker. A keen supporter of Somerset County Cricket Club & enjoys going on adventures with his young family.
Sales Account Manager
Simon joined SDS in 2008 having previously been an IT manager at a large manufacturing company and before that was heavily involved in IT sales and support.
Always attentive and has the customers interest at the forefront of his skillset, he has a very loyal customer base who keep returning.
He offers a wealth of IT knowledge as well as excellent account management skills. He is trained on all the software solutions SDS offer including Document Navigator and Papercut.
Simon enjoys many outdoor activities, including fishing and taking part in Park Run each week.
Sales & Marketing Support
Paul deals with all the marketing and sales support at SDS since joining in 2019. He has assisted the sales team in driving the business forward.
Paul enjoys all sport and is a keen golfer. And does charitable work for a number of local organisations.
Administrator
Toni offers first line support for technical issues. And assists with all aspects of administration and accounts.
Also deals with website and social media & marketing.
As a keen horse rider Toni enjoys all aspects of living in the countryside, including long walks with her dogs.
Solutions Specialist
Dan joined SDS in 2003, since he has become an excellent all round engineer with superb knowledge of the Konica Minolta range alongside an excellent IT knowledge.
Dan heads up the I.T. support and has extensive knowledge on all solutions we provide.
His attention to customer service and excellent communication skills make him a natural trainer and installer.
Fully trained on Papercut software and document Navigator, as well as the Konica Minolta range.
Dan is very keen on all aspects of fitness and enjoys spending time with his young family.
Support Analyst
Steve has been with SDS since 2018 & deals with all first line support calls with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of I.T. especially scanning, printing and workflow development. He also covers onsite installations and machine set up.
A keen walker and gardener-never happier than when spending time at his allotment.
Senior Service Technician
Jon has been a senior service engineer for over 30 years and has extensive knowledge of the Konica Minolta range. He has been with SDS since the start.
Excellent communication skills and is always willing to go that bit further for a successful outcome for the customer.
He possesses excellent mechanical knowledge and superb trouble shooting skills. Manufacturer trained on all machines we have in the field
right up to the current range.
Jon enjoys travelling and his new found love of cooking.
Service Engineer
Matt has been with SDS for over 7 years and brings a wealth of IT knowledge and a background of managed print services.
He offers great experience to the rest of the service department and compliments them with great communication skills.
Matt is very involved with refurbishment of machines and setting up new equipment, ready for delivery.
In his spare time Matt enjoys gaming and spending time with his grandson.
