The situation

AmicusLaw Solicitors provide advice on a wide range of legal issues. We have grown from a staff of 10 to over 40 and from two offices to six, with our Bridgwater office doubling in size. We work in a document heavy business sector in which rapid, reliable, cost effective and quality copying/printing/scanning facilities are fundamental to our business.

We have a longstanding relationship with SDS. They work closely with us, supplying appropriate, cost-effective print solutions as our business grows and our needs change.

The SDS solution

Initially, SDS worked with us to analyse and identify our specific business needs. This resulted in us choosing equipment that has multi-tray, colour, duplex, print, scan and copy functionality with fold and staple finishing.

The technology more than meets our requirements and has the spare capacity we’ll need for future expansion. We’ve got a system with an appropriate specification, at the right price, that provides us with a lower price per print and greater flexibility when compared to our previous solution.

The long-term benefits

The new equipment has been positively received by our staff and SDS are helping us to maximise the new functionality; including the eCopy software technology, that will be a huge benefit to the future of document management and storage.
